Attacks threaten people who do such harm, making them afraid but without any real communication.

Self-defense means that you are not guilty of defending yourself and that your response is reasonable given the nature of the harm you suffered. This means that if someone threatens to hit you, you cannot respond with lethal force.

Bilateral combat means that both sides agree to join the war. This is often determined by the actions of both parties and whether there is a conflict that has existed between you.

Building this type of defense means talking to witnesses, reviewing available videos, if available, investigating the facts of your case. Even if you have no defense to the charges, your case can be settled without a conviction, but a lot will depend on whether the victim wants to press charges or is willing to allow you to install malware that will allow you to do so. . the case should be dismissed.

A US Army officer who was photographed driving a black man down a South Carolina street earlier this week has been charged with third-degree assault, the Associated Press reported.

Jonathan Pentland, a 42-year-old sergeant first class, was arrested Monday and taken to the Richland County Jail. It seems he has already posted bail.

Midland Police Department: Man Charged With Aggravated Assault

On Monday, a woman posted a photo on Facebook showing a violent confrontation involving Pentland and a black man in her neighborhood outside of Columbia, South Carolina.

Pentland is seen yelling at people, getting in their faces, and telling people to get out of the neighborhood.

"You leave or I'm going to get the a-- out of here," Pentland said in the video.

It's unclear from the video what sparked the altercation, but at the end of the three-minute clip, Pentland's wife accuses the man of "fighting" with one of his female neighbors.

In the video, Pentland repeatedly asks what the men are doing in their neighborhood. The man said he was just walking, and that he lives in the area.

When the man tried to talk to Pentland's wife, Pentland pushed him, causing him to nearly fall, the video shows.

Shirell Johnson, the woman who posted the video on Facebook, wrote that she stayed with the man until officers arrived at the scene. He said the officer charged Pentland at the scene with serious injury for dropping the man's phone, which happened after the video stopped playing.

Johnson said he was walking with his best friend when they came across two people arguing, and he stayed to make sure the person was not hurt.

"We circled back to get him out of that situation because we don't want to see him [go] to jail or die just because he's black," she wrote. "It turns Black when it runs!!!"

While announcing Pentland's arrest on Friday, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott confirmed there were two other incidents involving Black men that led to the confrontation, but said it "doesn't justify" Pentland's behavior.

"There are a number of other incidents that do not completely justify [Pentland's] actions," Lott said. "Nobody justifies the attack that took place."

"It's bad, it's unnecessary, it's a bad video. The young man is the victim, the person arrested is the aggressor, and he has been dealt with accordingly," he continued.

Lott added that the black man had "a medical condition that may explain the behavior he exhibited in the alleged incident."

Social media accounts linked to Pentland show he works as a drill sergeant at Fort Jackson, the AP reported.

The installation's top general condemned the video Wednesday, and said the Justice Department was investigating the matter.

"I remain deeply concerned about Army family members, young people and their families, and the stress this type of activity places over time; be patient as the truth unfolds."

Protesters gathered outside the Pentland family home on Wednesday night. The Pentland family was evacuated from the home when protesters began vandalizing the home, the sheriff's department said.
